Quiet Days and Retreats
Come aside and rest a while...
In the midst of everyday pressures, it is refreshing and life-enhancing
to take time, to stop and reflect, whether for only half a day or for a
more extended period.
The following events for 2020 will be run in the Manawatu.

9:30 - 4 pm
This full day workshop is a repeat of the two half days run in 2019.
The morning will be introductory, while the afternoon extends your
understanding and would be suitable on its own for those who already

Anne will introduce this topic in blog posts shortly. Please contact her if you are interested in personal dreamwork.
The Divine Feminine
Saturday September 12, 2020
9:30 - 12 midday
In this workshop, we will look at the feminine face of God, some
female saints and mystics, and what they offer us.
Re-creating a Life
Saturday November 21, 2020
9.30 am - 4.30 pm
Kristen Hobby will lead a one day workshop based upon the book
‘Recreating a Life: Learning How to Tell Our Most Life-Giving
Story’ by Diane Millis Phd (SDI Press), exploring the
intersection between Narrative Therapy and Spiritual Direction.
Through reflection, writing and conversation with others, we can
discover a more promising story of our lives. We need a community, at
least one or more conversation partners, to accompany us. Other people
help us to see aspects of ourselves and our stories. It’s not
what we’ve experienced that defines us, but the stories we tell
about our experiences.
Contact me if you wish to be updated personally. I would be happy to
work with you to design a retreat or Quiet Day – please make
contact to discuss your proposal.
